Hi everyone!
Sometimes it's good to pull out one stamp set you have, and see how many ideas and cards you can create with it. Instead of always focusing on what is new in your craft room, maybe look for an older set, or one that you haven't used much.
Today this post is focusing on some of the cards I've created using the Simon Says Stamp - Beautiful Day stamp set. Let's dive right in!
I love this one. It's super simple and very easy to make, but looks gorgeous.
First step is to measure a layer that is slightly smaller than your standard card size. I then used white embossing powder to lay down the leaves and the sentiment (From KaiserCraft).
I used Distress Ink from Ranger Ink to blend the colours on the card background. The great thing about these inks is that they're water based, meaning that the colour doesn't stick to the embossing powder.
Once the colours were all blended decently I picked similar colours from my water-based markers to fill in the leaves for some added dimension.
Lastly I added some white-and-silver string, and popped it onto a card base!
This next orange card got snapped up as soon as I posted it.
I featured the butterfly from the set in those bold colours, and matched them with the orange card base and red string. The butterflies in the background I stamped with a grey ink, and the sentiment is from Avery Elle's Grateful set. I love a good calligraphy stamp!
Lastly, the card below reminds me of a picnic blanket... it must be the pattern.
I don't have the dies for this stamp set but that hasn't stopped me before - I just fussy-cut these images out!
The 'Thanks' die comes from a set but I can't remember where! I got it in a destash and either wasn't given the name or I completely forgot. Because I usually tag where I got my products from/what brand they are, this frustrates me to no end. (P.S. if you happen to know... please tell me!)
I love the tiny little sentiment that was provided with this pack: 'You are simply the best'. It can go with so much and it fit perfectly with the idea for this card.
I die-cut the Thanks out numerous times and layered them using my liquid glue. I also decided to use the Zig Glitter brush to add some sparkle, because we all need a little more cheer.

Gate dimension will rely upon the resin used and the dimensions of the half being molded. The larger high precision machining the gate, the simpler and higher it is to make high-quality components. Small gates present a greater look however require longer mildew time or larger stress. On the opposite hand, large gates permit for higher resin circulate and shortened mildew time. When plastic is injected immediately right into a cavity with a heat-controlled nozzle, the molded half is less doubtless to|prone to} have dimensional or floor blemishes, like black streaks.
