Avery Elle Floral Bouquet

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to another card post. Or I should say, a blog post featuring cards I made a while ago. I've got to back-date some things! This was a fun card to make! I used @averyellestamps Floral Bouquet, focusing on the additional stamps supplied.

It's easy enough to create this card! Mask the bottom section off, and stamp in black ink to your heart's delight.
Then add some colour and, if you have them, die-cut the flowers out. You can also fussy-cut if you wish.
My personal tip is to die-cut before your colour, if your die-cutting plates are getting used. Older plates transfer small slivers of paper and sometimes even texture the paper slightly.

This idea came from @darzcreations on Instagram (click the link!). The stamp set works perfectly, especially with the additional stamps provided in the packet. Simple but beautiful birthday card!

Of course, I use any opportunity to use vellum or embossing powders. In this case, I've used both! @coykoicrafting once commented that I inspired her to use more Vellum (and I'll take any chance to boost my friends - check her out!)

Until next time,

Shana xx
