Stamp Focus: Always Flowers from Pink Fresh Studios

Hello everyone!
It's good to be back at the computer writing another blog post. I should probably do this more often!

Today I'm focusing on one particular stamp set which I don't see around the place much. I decided to create some cards with it and see where it leads me! This stamp set is called Always Flowers and it's from Pink Fresh Studio. It's not available on their website, but you can purchase it from Scrapbook.com if you wish.

Up first is a gorgeous square card based on the corner floral from the set.

Stamp focus: Succulents from My Favorite Things

Welcome back everyone!

I've made a number of cards using the Sweet Succulent set from My Favorite Things, and I decided I would do one post for those three cards to showcase the focus. (Also because I can't write a thousand and one blog posts...)
I'll also be attempting to do these more often - making multiple cards with one set. It's good fun, and pushes your brain for new techniques and ideas to use.

First up: here's a card using the MTF stamp set. I love succulents, and it was a pleasure to explore all the possibilities with this set!

Mother's Day Cards

Welcome back, everyone.
For those who have a lovely mother in their lives, I hope you are all planning on spoiling her this weekend!
It's wonderful to have days set aside for when we can celebrate everything our parents have done for us. It's good to remember that some people don't have that parental figure in their lives. If you're feeling lonely this weekend, reach out to someone you admire. Even if it's not a female, let them know that you appreciate their support and leadership.

With all that, it's time to show you the lovely cards I've made! These were based on a previous card I created. I found a sentiment which will fit on the small banner sections.
I don't have many occasion sentiments, so it's lucky I found this one! It's from Neat and Tangled called Gardenia Blooms.

Geometric Shapes - Distress Ink Blending

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to another working week!  Time is flying by, we're already into May 😰

Here's another fun card, using a number of different techniques and tools. It's super quick, and easy to do.

I love ink blending. I tend to go for Ranger Ink's Distress ink (there are so many colours!) For this card, I used tape cut into strips for the white angles, and then used blending pads. I love these colours together!

Fresh Peonies Card (Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society)

Hello everyone! I hope your week went well.

I've got another Technique Tuesday card today!
I've used the March Greenhouse Society stamp and die set - Fresh Peonies. This die set also comes with the 'Friend' die which I thought was super cute.

Meadow Flowers Card (Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society)

Hello everyone! It's good to be back on the computer again.
I have the new stamp and die set from Technique Tuesday to share with you today!

Technique Tuesday is a stamp company which I adore. I love their sentiments and bible sayings, and I've fallen in love with their Greenhouse Society stamp sets.
The Greenhouse Society section of each month's release focuses on plants and flowers. I've subscribed to the monthly shipment because it's just too good to miss out on. (I've also gone ahead and splurged on a lot of the previously produced sets - just don't tell my bank account!)

Here's the April release - Meadow Flowers:

Single Layer Cards

Hello everyone. I've got a saying to start us off today:
Simplicity doesn't mean easy, and single-layer doesn't mean boring!

I've noticed a misconception among the crafting community about one-layer and simple cards. I was guilty of it at first too. I mean, you look at a card that's simple and you think it's boring. The more interesting cards have alcohol inks, or layered dies or...

And yet, there's something pretty special about a one-layer card. I love this one here - Sketched Flowers stamp set used for both image and sentiments, again coloured with easily accessed tools such as pencils and a tortillon.
