Positivity Blooms (Uniquely Creative)

Hello everyone, welcome back!

You must be aware by now that I'm in love with floral stamps and really enjoy colouring them! I'm by no means amazing at it at all, but it still gives me joy.

Today I have a fairly simple card which easy to put together but is absolutely gorgeous. Let's get into it!

This card uses the gorgeous Positivity stamp from Uniquely Creative and I love this simple stamp!

I've stamped the floral twice onto copic-safe paper and coloured with my Nuvo Markers. I went for a purple and yellow colour combination as I find that these balance eachother very well! I then die-cut these out using the corresponding dies.

I wanted a black background for my sentiment, so I used a label die from Kaiser Craft to cut out that small strip. I then took the 'Positive Vibes' stamp and embossed it with Ranger fine white embossing powder.

To finish up this card, I added some black speckles to the background with ink, and then I cut a thin strip of black cardstock and adhered that to the left side. I find that sometimes adding a strip like that really boosts the card. Finally, I adhered the florals using Glue Dots and added a few black Nuvo drops to complete the card!

That's it for today everyone! This is a fairly easy design to play with, that black stripe adds just the right about of balance and centering the card. What different elements to do you use to elevate your cards?

Until next time,
Shana xx
