Happy Hollyhock and Sending Roses (Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society)

Hello everyone,
Welcome back to another blog post! I'm doing my best to keep these semi-regularly posted.

I've got a few gorgeous cards using some Technique Tuesday products and my alcohol markers.
Let's get down to it!

This card uses the Happy Hollyhock stamp which was recently released from Technique Tuesday. I've coloured them using my Nuvo alcohol markers and layered the top piece with dimensional sticky foam.

I used the Jam Jar Label dies to cut out the two tags. The bottom one is Kraft paper which I felt gave the card a bit more oomph than just one white tag. It also broke up the purple-with-white colour. I then matched the tags with twine which feels authentic.

But wait - there's more!
I've also made this card using the Sending Roses stamp set in fairly the same way.

I've used some different markers for this. A friend gifted a set of Spectrum Noir Markers - the Pastel set - to me and I've used the pale yellows in addition to the ones I have from Nuvo.
I love this way of colouring flowers - it's so pale but the colour stands out so much. I also changed the way I colour leaves for these cards, I left white around most edges and I like it.

That's it for today! I quite enjoy this design so you may see it again.
Let me know what you think!

Until next time,
Shana xx
