Embossing the Happy Hydrangea (Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society)

Hello everyone!

This card today features another new tool that I alluded to in one of my previous posts.
It's the Wonky Stitched border die!
I've had a bunch of fun with this ever since I've received it. It just adds a little something extra to the card base.

The card today has some gorgeous colours and the set is from Technique Tuesday, so you know it's going to be a good one!

This card features Technique Tuesday's Happy Hydrangea stamp with the sentiment die from the Lovely Lavender set.
The wonky border die is from Simon Says Stamp. It comes with three sizes and a 'Wonky' word die that I might send to a friend as I can't think of a use for it. The largest border die fits just under the size of my regular cards but I just cut it down as needed. You'll see the other sizes cropping up soon as they add a lovely middle feature.

I've used clear embossing ink from Ranger Ink for this card, and coloured the Hydrangeas with water markers.
I noticed that my alcohol markers leave colour on the embossed image's borders which I didn't want, while water markers can wipe off and leave no marks which is perfect.

The die is from the Lovely Lavender set and I've used it multiple times now. It is die is cut numerous times and layered to make it stand out - I love using my Tombow MultiLiquid Glue adhesive for these things. I also used my Wink of Stella brush on the top once it was in place - this is a glitter applicator which can come in a pen nib or a brush end. I use these to add a bit of sparkle to my cards because why not?

I'm sure you can tell by now that I love Technique Tuesday products and will continue to love them for a long time.

That's it for today, I hope you like these cards!

Until next time,
Shana
