Stamp Focus - Altenew Floral Frame

Welcome back everyone! It's September, it's spring, let's have some florals!

Today I'm focusing on the stamp set Floral Frame from Altenew in a number of cards. I do love the flower bunch it comes with and the possibilities it holds.

For this first card I used the Simon Says Stamp Wonky Border die for the base, and stamped the flower from the set twice. I then coloured them using my Nuvo Markers, really looking for that blended dimension.
I then used both the light-coloured alcohol markers and some water-based markers to make the dots around the flowers. In person it looks great, unfortunately the camera has a hard time picking up the colours.
I then used Ranger Ink embossing powder on the sentiment from Mama Elephant Potted Pretties which fits very well with any floral card!

This next card also uses the Simon Says Stamp border die.
I love the look of the wreaths that come with these cards. I intend to use them more!
I first stamped the end sections of the wreaths to fit inside the die's lines. Underneath the top floral bunch, the ink will show lots of overlapping for those wreaths but when you have something to cover it up, it works!

I coloured these with my Nuvo markers again, different colours than the previous card. I don't often colour flowers in green, so this time I experimented with the turquoise colours. I also took advantage of all the small dot stamps and enjoyed having a bit of fun.
I don't have the correlating dies for this stamp set but I just used my small scissors and just fussy cut the floral bunch out. It worked pretty good!

The sentiment is from Mama Elephant Sweetest Greetings which I love.

It's good to mention a previous card in this post too. I used the floral bunch again for this one.

I described making this card in detail in my previous post, so feel free to have a look there.

There are many more ideas you have have with this card, inducing focusing more on the wreaths. I look forward to making more with this card!

Until next time,
Shana xx
